  4. The TrashCan is an object for storing any objects you want to delete, but with 
  5. the ability of recovering, like the trashcan in your kitchen. 
  6.  
  7. I created this WPS class, because I don't like the shredder originally provided 
  8. with the operating system. (It became dramatic after shredding some important 
  9. files... and the UNDELETE feature is ... !) 
  10.  
  11. Feel free to test my TrashCan with your shredder!

  75. using this notebook page.

  89. The Title field displays the current name of the TrashCan. This name is 
  90. displayed with the icon. Type in this field to change the title. 
  91.  
  92. Your new title can be displayed on one or more lines below the icon. Press the 
  93. Enter key as you type a new title to indicate the start of a new line. You can 
  94. use any characters, including spaces, except the backslash (\). 
  95.  
  96. You also can change the name of the object by typing a new name below the icon.

  98. Note: If you select Default , the title is removed and replaced with the 
  99. predifined name of the TrashCan.

  104. Select Undo to change the settings to those that were active before this 
  105. notebook page was displayed.

  111. installed the TrashCan.

  116. Select No limit to keep as much trash as possible in the TrashCan. 
  117.  
  118. Select Limited to to set a limit for the trash to keep in the TrashCan. If this 
  119. limit is reached, you have to empty the TrashCan or to shred one or more 
  120. objects before you can put new objects into it. The icon of the TrashCan will 
  121. show a 'Stop sign' to determine this state.

  123. Use the spin button to select the capacity you want. It is possible to assign a 
  124. trashhold between 1 MByte and the whole capacity of the drive the TrashCan is 
  125. installed on. 
  126.  
  127. Note: A real limit is always set by the free space on the drive! 
  128.  
  129. If you select Auto delete on limit-reach, the TrashCan will start to delete 
  130. automatically the oldest objects it contains, if the specified limit of 
  131. trashhold is reached. So the TrashCan will never be "full". Objects are 
  132. deleted, beginning with the oldest one, until there is enough space for the new 
  133. object(s) you want to insert.

  138. Setting a checkmark on Auto empty on systemstartup will destroy all objects in 
  139. the TrashCan, every time you start your operating system.

  141. To prevent this, remove the checkmark.

  146. Use the three radiobuttons in this field to switch the icon displayed in 
  147. Current icon. 
  148.  
  149. What are the three possible icons? 
  150.  
  151.  1. The Empty icon is used, if there are no objects in the TrashCan. 
  152.  2. The Not empty icon will be used, if there are any objects in the TrashCan. 
  153.  3. The Full icon you will see, if you selected a limited capacity in the 
  154.     Options notebook page and this limit is reached.

  159. Select Create another to use the Icon Editor to make a new icon for the 
  160. currently displayed state of the TrashCan.

  165. Select Edit, if you want to change the icon that is displayed in the Current

  171. The Current icon field shows, which pictures (icons) are used for the different 
  172. TrashCan states. To switch between the three possible icons use the Icons 
  173. radiobuttons field in this notebook page. To change the icons you can use the 
  174. push buttons to the right of the Current icon field. Or you can change the 
  175. icons by dragging and dropping any .ico file onto the icon in the Current icon 
  176. field.

  178. Important Note:

  180. The new icon to set via drag'n drop must reside in an icon data file. This is 
  181. different from the original WPS objects!!!

  183. Initially the icons are determined by the TrashCan.
